Keputusan Skuad Timnas Spanyol Tidak Masuk Akal ??

Pelatih Timnas Spanyol Luis Enrique baru saja mengumumkan daftar nama para pemain yang dibawanya ke Euro 2020 dan pemilihan pemain yang dilakukannya menimbulkan kontroversi dan kebingungan.

Pengumuman itu dilakukan pada hari Senin (24/05/2020). Sebanyak 24 pemain dipanggil untuk memperkuat La Furia Roja.

Nama-nama beken pun masuk daftar ini. Seperti kiper Manchester United David De Gea. Lalu ada Jordi Alba dari Barcelona.

Thiago Alcantara dari Liverpool, Sergio Busquets dan Pedri dari Barcelona, hingga Alvaro Morata dari Juventus. Akan tetapi pemanggilan ini juga menimbulkan kontroversi dan membuat banyak fans timnas Spanyol khususnya jadi bingung.

Pasalnya Enrique tak memanggil satu pun pemain dari Real Madrid. Termasuk Sergio Ramos, salah satu pemain paling senior dan disegani di Eropa saat ini. Justru ia membawa bek Manchester City, Aymeric Laporte.

Ia juga memanggil nama-nama pemain yang sejatinya jarang main dan tak memilih mereka yang musim ini dapat jatah merumput jauh lebih banyak. Contohnya Eric Garcia dengan Nacho Fernandez.
