Jude Bellingham Remaja Inggris Cetak Rekor di Piala Eropa 2020

 Jude Bellingham memecahkan rekor sebagai pemain termuda yang tampil di Piala Eropa, setelah main membela Timnas Inggris  yang mengalahkan Kroasia 1-0 dalam laga pembuka Grup D Piala Eropa 2020 di Wembley, London, Minggu malam 13 Juni 2021.

Gelandang Borussia Dortmund tersebut memasuki lapangan pada menit ke-82, menggantikan Harry Kane itu dan ketika Inggris sudah unggul atas Kroasia.

Bellingham itu memecahkan rekor tersebut dalam usia 17 tahun 349 hari, demikian dalam catatan laman resmi UEFA.

Sebelumnya juga, rekor itu hampir dua dekade lamanya dipegang oleh legenda Belgia, Enzo Scifo tersebut, yang tampil dalam Euro 1984 dalam usia 18 tahun 115 hari.

Nama Bellingham bisa saja tergeser dalam beberapa hari ke depan nantinya, mengingat pemain termuda di seluruh skuad Piala Eropa 2020 adalah gelandang Polandia Kacper Kozlowski, yang lahir hampir empat bulan setelah Bellingham itu. (Ant)
